From the Festival site: Brooklyn is the beautiful and moving story of Eilis Lacey, a young Irish woman who seeks her fortune in New York and is then forced to return to Ireland where she faces a heartbreaking dilemma. Colm Tóibín, one of Europe’s most accomplished living authors, discusses his astonishingly insightful account of the sequence of choices that make up one woman’s life.
